Desperation drove me to Urban Mattress, and what a fortunate day. Although the Taos has been in my life for several months now, I still find myself smiling as I settle onto the mattress each night. The Taos is a firm marshmallow, responding to my every move perfectly. It is the Goldilocks of mattresses, just right in its suppleness, its acceptance, and its commitment to a restful night.
Prices are great, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They also have a great selection of organic/green mattresses. Customer service can't be beat.
By far the best place to buy a mattress. Connor was extremely helpful in helping me find the best mattress for me, super professional and best quality mattresses at each price level.
I found the owner extremely trustworthy, I think the whole transaction took 15 minutes because I told him exactly what I wanted and the price range, and he took me to the exact bed that I needed. That kind of service requires a certain kind of knowledge, intuition, and artistry that can't be found in sales people that have been in the industry for five months and work on commission.
Recently we purchased an organic mattress and have never slept better. The bed surpasses our expectations. We were searching for a 'clean, green' mattress, with no out-gassing, sustainably grown and/or made with organic and wool features. We had various 'special requests' and these were treated with respect and were met. We also purchased 2 kapok pillows and love these and their organic cover. The delivery people were also respectful, timely and easy to work with.
Unfortunately the mattress is warrantied for 20 years - we can hardly wait to go back for another!.
